Boat Ramp Free Camping area

The Boat Ramp free camping site is situated right on the Barwon- Darling River. With ample room to set up camp either with your Van, Tents or motor home, you’re sure to find the right spot to enjoy the simple pleasures in life with no fuss.

Launch your boat form the boat ramp or fish form the floating pontoon, you’re in a great spot to catch the perfect Golden perch (yella belly) to cook over the camp fire for dinner, there are plenty of beautiful old gum tress to give you the shade you need too

Take a dip and enjoy the sky changing colour at sunset, maybe even meander through the seasonal wildflowers that line the river beneath the bridge. This space is sure to bring out the photographer within you, look up through the old historic bridge to the night sky and capture the perfect shot.

Pooncarie Golf Course nearby. Swing a club or drop a line in the river, both within walking distance of the grounds.

  • $20 Refundable deposit for the key to enter camping grounds for a powered site
