Menindee to Pooncarie

The eastern journey from Menindee takes you 128km before reaching the quaint town of Pooncarie. For more adventure and different scenery the western route takes you through the infamous Kinchega National Park and via Tandou Lake and then back through Bindara Station to follow the Darling once more.

 

 

East Route: 125 km (Gravel Road)

  • Menindee – Pooncarie Rd: 125km

West Route: 184 km (Gravel Road)

  • Old Pooncarie Rd (via Kinchega) > Polia Rd: 84.5km Polia Rd > High Darling Rd: 91km
  • High Darling Rd > Pooncarie-Wentworth Rd: 7.5km
  • Pooncarie-Wentworth Rd<> Pooncarie: 2.7km
