The Darling River Run
An unforgettable road trip along the mighty Darling River in outback NSW.
If you’re travelling the Darling River Run, consider taking a side trip to discover one of Outback NSW’s true hidden gems - the Goodooga Artesian Springs & Campground.
Fed by the Great Artesian Basin, these naturally heated mineral waters offer the perfect place to soak, unwind, and reset after a day on the road. The pools are clean, inviting, and open 24 hours, so whether it’s an early morning dip or a relaxing soak under a sky full of stars, it’s an experience worth the trip.
Right alongside the springs, the campground provides a peaceful place to pull up for the night. There’s plenty of space for caravans and campers, with basic facilities that make it easy to stay a little longer and enjoy the quiet.
If you’re heading through #Brewarrina or along the upper reaches of the Darling, it’s well worth adding to your itinerary.

Fill this space… It doesn’t take much out here.
🎣 An empty chair by the water, a couple of lines in, and time slowing right down. This is the kind of moment you’ll find #outontherun at Copi Hollow Caravan Park, where the days are easy and the fishing stories come naturally.
Set along the banks of Menindee Lakes, it’s the perfect spot to pull up, cast a line, and settle into that outback rhythm. No rush, no noise - just you, the lakes, and a good excuse to stay a while.
On the Darling River Run, this is what it’s all about… finding your own space, and filling it your way.

The museum is open Monday to Saturday, offering guided tours of the centre and the National-Heritage listed fish traps.

🦅 This striking sculpture of a nesting eagle is just one of the public art pieces you'll find throughout #Brewarrina reflecting the stories, spirit, and strength of the region.
You'll locate this and other sculptures over the bridge as you come into the north of town on the Kamilaroi Hwy. Make sure to stop and take a look when you're in Brewarrina on the #DarlingRiverRun.
