Kallara Station

27/04/2020 by Liz Murray

The McClure’s call Kallara Station ‘the accessible outback’ as it is central to the historic river ports of Bourke and Wilcannia and the outback mining towns of Cobar and White Cliffs.

Situated above the Tilpa weir with 32km of Darling River frontage, Kallara Station is a fantastic place to fish and a bird-watchers paradise. Deep river bends mean great fishing holes and Cod and Yellow-Belly are the locals’ favourites.

Situated just 15 minutes drive from Tilpa on the Darling River Run, guests can relax with a range of riverside units, fishermen’s quarters, campsites and powered sites by the beautiful river.
