Event Details

This inaugural 2-day festival is a chance to immerse yourself in a unique cultural experience. Get to know the local mob and hear stories of their Land and People. At night, enjoy traditional dance and Wiimpatja music.

  • Friday 8 July, 5pm to 9pm – Corroboree, Two Mile dance ground:
    Visiting First Nation dance groups from around the country perform traditional dance from their group’s homelands in several categories.
  • Saturday 9 July, 5pm to 9pm – Showcase of local Wiimpatja music acts, Two Mile dance ground:
    You’ll enjoy musical talent of the Wiimpatja and get to do some dancing yourself.
  • Both days: Guided tours start at 10am. Bush tucker available from 6pm. Food and refreshments available to buy throughout the festival.

Enjoy a great weekend of celebration of Aboriginal culture and of Mutawintji itself. This is a drug-free and alcohol-free event.

Adult $50 per person. Concession (seniors, pension and students) $30 per person. Child (5 to 16 years) $10 per person. Family (2 adults and 2 children) $110. Young children (4 years and under) free.
